The Fuengirola International Fair of Countries takes place between Wednesday, April 29th and Sunday, May 3rd. The opening day will be the day where attractions are discounted by 50% and the traditional parade will be held on Friday, May 1st.
It will be open continuously from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM, although for the peace and quiet of the residents, the music in the booths will stop no later than 1:30 AM. In addition, as in previous years, a quiet hour will be established every day, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM., to facilitate the enjoyment of people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
This year the fair will once again feature 33 countries, some established participants like Chile, back again, and some others returning, such as Palestine, Sweden, and Thailand, among others. The Coordination Center will remain at the Palacio de la Paz complex, at the north face of the fair.
This year's poster was designed by local artist D. Darko, featuring a vibrant image that incorporates the flags of the participating countries, symbolizing the diversity and spirit of coexistence that defines the FIP.
This year we have Iceland joining the FIP for the first time.
Another important change is the opening hours of the booths, which will open a little earlier (from 12:00 PM) and close earlier than in previous years (until 2:00 AM).
RENFE will operate special train services from Los Boliches station at 2:30, 3:00, and 4:40 AM. Meanwhile, city bus line 1, which connects Miramar with Carvajal, will extend its service until 2:30 AM.
Two additional parking areas will also be set up in La Loma (Avenida de Andalucía), properly signposted and accessible via Google Maps under the name "Aparcamiento Feria de Los Países".
The parade will take place on Friday, May 1st, starting at 11:00 AM from the Town Hall Square. Representatives from the countries participating in FIP 2026 will march in the parade, more than 1,500 people and 30 vehicles. p>
