The International Fair of the Countries of Fuengirola, previously known as the People's Fair, returns on Wednesday, May 1, with the inaugural parade that will tour the streets of Fuengirola. The fair will end on Sunday, May 5, 2024. p>
Thursday, May 2, will be Children's Day, with significant discounts on fair attractions.
It will remain open, continuously, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., although this year on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 2:00 a.m. the stands will stop playing music for the residents' rest.
This year the fair will once again have 33 countries, since the Coordination Center will move to the Palacio de la Paz, leaving room for another country. We will miss the participation of Chile, but Italy, Senegal and Sweden return and Lebanon enters for the first time in the history of the FIP.
The parade will take place on Wednesday, May 1, leaving at 11:30 from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Folkloric groups from the countries represented in the FIP 2024 plus Thailand will parade there, with more than a thousand participants.
