I International Culture Fair

On December 4, 1994, the Fuengirola government team held the 1st International Fuengirola Fair at the town's fairgrounds, a great opportunity for Spaniards to learn about folklore, gastronomy and the customs of citizens foreigners living on the Costa del Sol.

The councilor of the Popular Party presented the fair and invited all the associations of foreign residents to register to participate in the First International Fair in Fuengirola, in which it was intended to bring together more than 35 associations from some twenty countries.

Among the activities planned for that day were theater exhibitions, typical dances, gastronomy, song, choral ensembles, etc. The Peñas de Fuengirola gave up their facilities for the celebration of this activity.
